Post-publication Updates

When this feature is enabled, articles can be updated after publication: the Publisher requests a 'post-publication update' directly from the Publishing manuscript page. The article is sent to the production team for XML Conversion while the online published version stays live, and the Publisher is notified when the revised version is ready to be published.

The option looks like this in the Application Features:

You can then head to the Publishing menu.

Then, select a manuscript that is online and click 'Post-publication update.

The article is then sent to the production team for XML re-conversion while the online version stays live. The Publisher is then notified when the revised version is ready to re-publish.

To republish, follow the same steps as in this article.
