Portico

Portico is a community-supported preservation archive that safeguards access to e-journals, e-books, and digital collections. JAMS supports integration with Portico to deposit papers published on JAMS-hosted websites to Portico after publication.


To enable this integration, head to the Application Features:

Enable the Portico option and click configure.

Connecting to Portico FTP requires the following parameters:

  1. host
  2. port
  3. username
  4. password
  5. upload path

If you haven’t got a useful FTP service, contact support@jams.pub and the JAMS Team can provide a default one.


Once a manuscript is published to the JAMS-hosted website, the manuscript and any supplementary files will be deposited to Portico. It usually takes about 24 hours for the deposit to complete.
