Uploading a new file

If the wrong version of the paper was uploaded or you wish to update the version available on the system, you can reupload the file from the manuscript page.

There are two useful links in the header of the manuscript processing page: ‘Upload manuscript’ and ‘Display Manuscript Log’. With the second of these, you can see all previous versions of the manuscript uploaded. By selecting different versions, you can see where specific changes were made and who uploaded which version. The first allows the handling editor to upload a new version of any of the manuscript files at any time.

If you wish to upload a new version of the file:

1. At the top of the manuscript page, find the ‘Upload Manuscript’ button.

   

2. Select the file type that you wish to upload, a window will appear allowing you to select the file from your computer files. Select the file that you wish to upload.

   

3. The new file will replace the previous one as the latest version of the manuscript.
