I am stuck at peer review

This usually happens if a mandatory step has not been completed earlier on in the handling of the manuscript.

📘 Instructions

1. Ensure that the manuscript has been assigned a Handling Editor. This can be confirmed at the top of the manuscript page. If the manuscript has not been assigned an Editor, a notification will appear every time the manuscript page is opened.

2. 

   If there is no assigned editor for the manuscript, please select a Handling Editor from the list and then press the green check sign to confirm.

   

3. Check for a section that is highlighted in orange, this means that the step is still open. For example, if the ‘Requirements satisfied’ check box has not been completed, a decision cannot be made on the manuscript. Please ensure that you have pressed ‘Submit’ and sent the subsequent email to notify the authors that their submission has been received.
