Automatic Reminders

If this feature is enabled, the Managing Editor can define the Reminder Settings to customisable durations to fit within the journal’s workflow. The author or reviewers will be automatically reminded to complete the task that they have been assigned.

To enable this feature, go to Application Features:

The feature can be configured to set these reminders at system level (i.e. the same across all journals) or at journal level, to account for different reminder cadencies journal by journal.

If you set the reminders to be at Journal Level, you will need to head to each journal’s settings to configure these.

If you have chosen site-wide reminders, you can head to the Website Settings.
